Pick My Experiment!

So the competition ends Wednesday ... and I haven't reached my goal.

The good news, for you, is that I'm still determined to lose my hundred pounds, and you get to help me decide how I'm going to do it.

So give me advice. Beginning Friday, I promise to spend one week implementing readers' top pick. You want me to eat more calories? Dance in the middle of the freeway? Wear a bra on my head? Help me decide, and you can help direct human medical experimentation! Heil!

(You may choose more than one response to each question. And if the survey below doesn't appear on your screen, click here to take the survey).

  1. Oh... two questions I forgot...
What are you going to eat during the winter and where exactly were you getting your produce this summer?

    1. Produce, mostly at the International Market on East Hill (And the Great Wall Mall, just because it's fun to hang out there).

Winter? Revving up the dehydrator. Will I start adding some cooked food to my diet? Maybe. Or I might just keep the fireplace burning all winter. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get closer to hitting my mark.

    1. And now I get to be the guinea pig for everyone's pet theories about weight loss. How often do you find someone willing to do that?

  3. I want to see you succeed. I am surprised that you have not lost more, but please do not start starving yourself.

    1. I'm determined to hit my mark, but even that will still be a LOOOONNNGGG way from starvation! If I ever get below 120, y'all are welcome to tempt me with candy.

  4. I love your blog Laura. It's very entertaining and fun! I really want you to go on the dang cruise!!! Have you thought of getting a FitBit Ultra? I have one and totally love it; your'e kind of techy/geeky, so I bet it would be right up your alley.

    1. Hadn't heard of it, but it sounds pretty compelling...I may have to order one. My clunky pedometer watch (which my sister calls my lesbian watch) isn't very accurate. And women keep hitting on me. Perhaps I need to rethink my arm attire.
